Trailblazing cellist Shirley Smart has established herself firmly on both the jazz and world music scenes since moving back to London, working with artists including , Neil Cowley, Mulatu Astatke, Robert Mitchell, Misha Mullov-Abaddo Maciek Pysz and Alice Zawadzki. Shirley's trio draws on her eclectic background to bring together her jazz, blues and world music influences.
Shirley is joined by John Crawford, one of the UK's leadiing jazz pianists, who shares her interest in Latin and world influenced jazz, guitarist Nicolas Meier and long term collaborator, and flamenco master Demi Garcia Sabat on percussion.
