Distinguished tenor saxophonist Martin Dunsdon's professional career began with the Eric Delaney band. He has worked with the Saxtet saxophone quartet, Eddie Starr, Al Martino, Jack Jones, Stacey Kent, the Syd Lawrence, Michael Garrick, Joe Loss, Jeff Hooper and Freddy Staff Orchestras besides 'depping' on 'Chicago' and ‘The Rat Pack’ in the West End. He has been lead tenor in the Glen Miller Orchestra since 2001.
Martin enjoys nothing better than an evening playing standards in a jazz club. |
Growing up in Wales before moving to Bracknell, tenor saxophonist Jonathan Lewis often worked with the cream of the Welsh jazz scene, alongside players like Huw Warren and the Cottle Brothers.
Jonathan is a prolific jazz arranger, whose excellent charts are often played by two of our best local big bands, the Remix Jazz Orchestra and the Paul Sykes Band. His arrangements also include a big collection of saxophone quartets which he plays in an ensemble with Alan Barnes. |
